On view June 1 – September 3 | Ages 6+
Step into imaginary territory of lines, dots, and letters, and immerse yourself into this virtual playground of four dimensions: X (horizontal), Y (vertical), Z (depth), and T (time).
XYZT: Abstract Landscapes is a world-travelled installation by internationally acclaimed French contemporary digital artists and multimedia choreographers Adrien M & Claire B. The interactive show offers an exploratory physical experience through ten digital landscapes and opened to public June 1st.
- "A fusion of modern art installation and late 19th century illusionist spectacle." - The Creators Project
- "Art Installations That Tease the Senses" - The New York Times
It’s a variety of sensory experiences and unprecedented interactions that are created by exploiting ancient techniques of illusion and endless possibilities of modern technology. Visiting this exhibit is like taking a stroll through another form of nature a digital one, being able to touch algorithms and sense matter of light. Each installation stems patterns of physical behavior and borrows its evoking power from reality, like walking on a grass or touching the sand and transposes it into an abstract world composed of lines, points and letters.
The exhibition is a part of a comprehensive artistic project, fueled by research in sensory relationship between the human body and digital objects in motion. Through simple manipulations you can create shapes, sketch the world, play without rules, after all, you are the main character and creator of this digital world of algorithms.
Whether you are walking on floors that react to footsteps, manipulating light particles within a giant digital cube or blowing into glass boxes and witnessing virtual letters that assemble and disassemble as by a touch of magic, you are in for a one of a kind immersive sensory encounter.
XYZT exhibition is on view June 1 through September 3 with both Daytime (10a.m. - 4p.m.) and Evening (5:30p.m.-10p.m.) admissions. > Buy tickets now.
